Hansel And Gretel Retelling

Today LS1 retold fairytales. First we read a fairytale then retold on paper. Then we made a wevideo and recorded us reading  our retold story. Then we blogged it. I learnt how to use wevideo and how to retell more. I think we could improve on retelling more advanced stories for our level

Today I made an emaze on how to be a sucessful learner. First LS1 was divided into groups. In our groups we brainstormed what we could do to be a sucessful learner. We chose our Top 10 and shared our ideas with the class. After that, we all made a DLO on how to be a sucessful learner. I learned the different ways you could be a sucessful learner. Favourite Ice cream flavours chart

Today in LS1 we did a Statistical investigation. We were given choices for our bar graph.  We paired ourselves and made a class list. Then we asked all class mates what was their favourite choice in each category. I learned how to make a bar graph and how to do a statistical investigation. I had lots of fun doing this. I think we could improve on doing a more advanced chart then the bar graph.

My partner and I asked 57 people in LS1.
Chocolate had the most votes.
Strawberry had the one vote. Strawberry is the lowest vote of all flavours.
Vanilla has 7 votes. Boysenberry has one more vote than Vanilla.
Chocolate has 21 votes. Cookies n Cream have one less vote than chocolate.

Analysing a Narrative

Today in LS1 we were analysing narratives for writing. I learnt that a narrative is a fictional story. A narrative has a beginning middle and an end. In the beginning it has a orientation and the hint of the problem. In the middle it has the problem. In the ending we have the solution/resolution. I think my group and I should write a bit more detail about the introduction, problem and the solution.
