Prototec: Basic Facts Maths

Today for Maths, I did the can do Prototec. I did stage 6 that includes addition and subtraction up to 1000,  addition to 20, subtraction to 20 and the 2, 3, 5, 10 times tables and division. All stages except for the 1000. The 1000 was a bit tricky, but I got a 10 out of 10 score. I think I could keep practicing my basic facts until I'm ready for stage 7. 

Maths: Prototech

Today for Maths I did the Can do Prototech. I got 40 out of 40 equations right. The trickest part was the thousands. The easiest was the Addition, Division, Subtraction and Multiplication.

Maths Follow up: Day 4

This is my Maths follow up Day 4. In our maths groups we had to add the two numbers that make up the same number that you subtract.

Maths Follow Up

This week for my maths group we had to do these equations. We had to add the 2 numbers that make the same number that you are taking away then add the remaining numbers. We also had to show our working out not only the answers.

This is my follow up Maths must do task. I had to add two numbers that add up to ten then add the remaining numbers.

Hit the Button results

Today in LS1 my Maths group and I played Hit the Button. We had to answer basic facts from 1 - 10. I got 29 out of 30. 

Free Rice Results

Today in LS1 I played free rice. I chose the subject Maths, Multiplication table. I got a few questions wrong but I think I could improve on getting the answers right and on time. I donated 310 grains of rice.

Transum Addle

Today In LS1, during Maths I worked on Transum. The activity that I did was called Addle. I had the numbers 1-14. I had to put them into the right places so it could add up to the same number that was layed out. It was kind of complicted and frustrating but I got the answers.

Prototech Results Term 2

Today I did Prototech Maths. I got 40/40. I think I need to improve on my timing with getting the answers right and on the in less than 2 minutes.

Basic Facts on Prototech

Today I played Prototech. These are my results. I found the Addition to 20, Subtraction to 20, division and multiplication basic facts easy. I found the 100 A bit tricky, but only got one question wrong overall. There were many different strategies I used.

Xtra Math results

These are my results on Xtra Math. I found most of the questions easy and some of them hard because of the time. I need to improve on my basic facts and getting the answers right in time. I got a few questions wrong like 19 - 7. There were no patterns between what I got right and what I got wrong.

Free Rice

Today in LS1 we worked on our basic facts. I went onto a site called free rice. If you get one question right you donate 10 grains of rice. Today I donated 350 grains of rice. My goal next time is to reach up to 500 grains of rice.

Number Stones

Today in LS1 we played number stones. I played with Apitanga and Savelina. I was playing against Apitanga and Savelina was the judge. At the end of the game I won the game. I had lots of fun. 

My Prototech Basic facts Maths results

Today I went on the Prototech website to practise my basic facts. I was very familiar with these group areas: Basic facts to one thousand, Addition to 20, Subtraction to 20, and Multiplication and Division. I did very well and only got one wrong question. I think I could improve on one of my group areas, Basic facts to 1000.
